The Riot Act – Yer That/Bubble Wrap

New tracks from my longtime collaborator Josh Smith, and his new band The Riot Act! These were a whole lotta fun to make.

This is the beginning of something new. Pieces of Voltron reforming, if you will. These songs are rooted in the kind of energy we’ve always put into our live show, and in a certain urgency and recklessness that I think has been missing from my music for a minute. Welcome. Josh Smith on the raps.
Gabe Gordon on the keys and synths.
Louis Russo on the bass.
Nate Mondschein on the drums and samples.

Jared Paul engineered these songs at Let Em In Music and Maspeth Lab in Brooklyn. He mixed them at Spaceman Sound, also in Brooklyn.

Steve Berson mastered them at Total Sonic Media.

Miranda ten Broeke, Noelle Kimble-McEntee, and Kieran K. Meadows all yelled a lot. Actually, we all yelled a lot.
